Are you responsible, creative, fun, and like to work with Youth and Teens from ages 13-18 years old? Do you enjoy ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment important to you to help mold the future leaders of our nation? If so, we would love for you to join our Youth and Teen team at the Tri-Community Family Branch YMCA!
Under the direction of the Youth & Teen Coordinator, the Youth and Teen Instructor will assist with planning and implementing a safe, inclusive, active teen program which encompasses creative and physical activities. Applicants should feel comfortable building relationships and serving as a role model for youth and teen members.
There will be a focus on leadership development, mentorship, skill building. Activities will include homework help, group activities, volunteer opportunities, and field trips. Prospective instructors should be creative, responsible and reliable. They must have the ability to multitask, take initiative and work well independently, and as a team.
Schedule: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday (occasional weekend hours necessary)
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $15.00/hour
