Window Treatments Installer

We are seeking a skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies. The Window Treatment Installer will be responsible for measuring windows, ordering materials, and installing window treatments in a timely and professional manner. The Window Treatment Installer will become the install expert on our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in confirming window measurements with designers.
• Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies.
• Ensure that all installations are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
• Communicate with COO on any issues and required after-visits to complete job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in client’s homes and installation van.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Manage inventory of supplies kept in the installation van.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience installing window treatments.
• Ability to read and interpret installation instructions and diagrams.
• Proficient in all types of window treatment installs - drapery, shades, blinds, shutters, cornices, etc.
• Experienced in “tricky” window templates and installs - bay windows, very high windows, etc.
• Entry-level carpentry skills for troubleshooting.
• Commitment to total process of installation including steaming products after installation
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Must pass a background test and drug test.
• Must read and speak English.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Salary : The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
