Responsabilidades Principales
Descargar contenedores y paletizar sacos de arroz de 55 lb.
Recibir, inspeccionar, etiquetar y almacenar materias primas.
Seguir los sistemas de inventario FIFO/FEFO .
Ayudar en las operaciones de remojo, molienda, mezcla y empaque .
Manejar materiales de manera segura y operar transpaletas o montacargas .
Cargar/descargar camiones y organizar tarimas y estantes.
Mantener la limpieza, higiene y seguridad en todo momento.
Condiciones de Trabajo
Capacidad para trabajar en ambientes refrigerados o congelados .
Capacidad física para levantar hasta 55 lb repetidamente .
Ambiente de trabajo rápido y dinámico en producción y almacén.
Horario y Pago
Tiempo completo , horario variable (normalmente 8 horas al día, 5 días a la semana ).
Pago inicial: $18 por hora , con oportunidades de horas extra.
Tiempo libre pagado (PTO) disponible después del período de prueba de 90 días .
Requisitos
Conocimiento básico de operaciones de almacén y seguridad alimentaria .
Experiencia con montacargas o manejo de tarimas es una ventaja.
Persona responsable, con espíritu de equipo y disponibilidad de horario.

Job Summary
Vijay Home Foods Inc. is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to support daily warehouse and production operations at our Edison, NJ facility. The role involves unloading floor-loaded containers , palletizing 55 lb bags of rice , and assisting with production and material handling tasks in a refrigerated food environment.
Key Responsibilities
Unload shipping containers and palletize 55 lb bags of rice.
Receive, inspect, label, and store raw materials.
Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory systems.
Assist with soaking, grinding, mixing, and packing .
Safely handle materials and operate pallet jacks or forklifts .
Load/unload trucks and organize pallets and racks.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the facility.
Work Conditions
Work in refrigerated and frozen environments as needed.
Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly .
Fast-paced warehouse and production setting.
Schedule & Pay
Full-time , variable schedule (typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week ).
Starting pay: $18/hr , with overtime opportunities.
PTO available after 90 days probationary period.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and food safety .
Forklift or pallet handling experience preferred.
Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible with work hours.
