Job Summary
The Warehouse Material Handler works with a sense of urgency to control manufacturing inventory through tracking, placement and storage of materials to production lines, staging and warehouse areas. Proven aptitude for high attention to details, excellent reliability and attendance required. Must have ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds, drive sit-down and stand-up reach forklift and work overtime if needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate stand up reach forklift, hand pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
2. Lift, push, pull, carry materials and boxes by hand
3. Read and follow work orders to pick and place components, chemicals and supplies to production lines and compounding staging area
4. Assist in warehouse to wrap orders, load and unload goods and supplies
5. Pack, label and create shipping documents for outbound orders
6. Document movement of materials using internal inventory tracking system
7. Coordinate orders with internal teams
8. Walk and stand most of a scheduled shift
9. Physically lift up to 50 pounds
10. Wear designated personal protection equipment (PPE)

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. 1+ years of experience in a Material Handler/Shipping & Receiving position within a manufacturing warehouse environment
3. 1+ years of experience driving forklifts

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Able to follow detailed work instruction

· High attention to details, accuracy

· Able to handle multiple priorities

· Able to work under time pressure

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Able to work independently

· Strong communication skills

· Basic math ability (count, add, subtract, multiply and divide)

· Experience using RF scanner and warehouse equipment (wrap machine, scale, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc)

· Understand how to use various office equipment such as a calculator, scale, computer

· Understand basic supply chain activities
