Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Easton, PA
Shift: First Shift
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Easton, PA. This first-shift role plays a critical part in the smooth and accurate flow of inventory within our warehouse, from receiving and storage to order packing and shipment preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection:
Unpack incoming shipments by removing parts from shipping cartons.
Verify items received against packing slips or purchase orders for accuracy.
Inspect products for visible damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
Inventory Management:
Use an RF scan gun to scan parts into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Sort items by assigned warehouse location and ensure proper labeling.
Accurately place products into designated storage areas.
Order Fulfillment:
Retrieve products from storage based on pick lists.
Pack orders securely using appropriate protective materials to prevent damage in transit.
Use a pneumatic staple gun or tape gun to seal shipping cartons.
Equipment Operation:
Operate battery-powered carts and other warehouse equipment as required.
Maintain equipment in clean and safe working condition.
Documentation & Reporting:
Record and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.
Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate work records.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience a plus but not required.
Ability to operate RF scan guns and basic warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and exposure to packaging materials and moving equipment.
