Warehouse Associate
Our client located in Marlin, TX is looking for a Plant Technician to join their team. This is Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
? Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
? Store chemicals in designated locations following safety and handling procedures.
? Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
? Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
? Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
? Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
? Ensure proper labeling and documentation for hazardous and non-hazardous shipments.
? Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA and company safety standards.
? Assist in loading and unloading trucks and verify shipping documentation.
? Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the warehouse supervisor.
Job Requirements:
? HS Diploma or GED is required.
? Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse, preferably in a chemical or hazardous materials environment, but not required.
? Ability to read and interpret documents, orders, and instructions.
? Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
? Knowledge of hazardous material handling and DOT regulations is a plus.
? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
? Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
Physical Requirements:
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
? Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time.
Environmental factors:
? Work is mostly performed in a warehouse environment.
? Must be able to pass safety training and adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
