Readers 2 Leaders Academy is looking for passionate volunteers to share their talents with young minds!

We?d love to invite you to join our
Creative Electives Program , where local talent meets early childhood education!
We're looking for
volunteers or part-time instructors to visit
once a month (or more) and lead engaging, age-appropriate sessions for our amazing little learners (ages 2?5).
This is a perfect opportunity if you:

? Need volunteer hours or portfolio experience
? Are passionate about your craft and want to inspire the next generation
? Located in
Petersburg, VA ?? Flexible scheduling (monthly visits or more)
? All content should be fun, safe, hands-on, and child-friendly!

Duties ? What You'll Do
- Visit our center once a month for 3?4 hours
- Lead a fun, age-appropriate activity in an area you love:
- ? Music | ? Art | ? Theater | ? Sports | ? Dance | ?? Crafts | ? STEAM
- Work with small groups (2?8 children) in a warm and safe environment
- Choose your age group and design your session with our support
- Let us know at least 1 week in advance if you need supplies? we can provide them or you?re welcome to bring your own
Requirements ? Who We're Looking For
- Volunteers ages 16+ , no experience required?just passion and patience!
- High school students, college students, retirees, educators, artists, community leaders? ALL are welcome
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Availability Monday through Friday 10-12 PM 2-4 PM
- Must be comfortable engaging with young children in a creative, structured environment
