Results are delivered rapidly, often within minutes, and include detailed written comments alongside vote tallies, providing a deeper understanding beyond mere numbers.
**What you'll do**
As a Video Editor, you transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content tailored for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You collaborate with the marketing team to meet project requirements and deadlines, utilizing strong communication skills for effective teamwork. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, you ensure timely delivery and maintain high standards through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Staying current with the latest trends and techniques, you continuously improve video quality and incorporate new editing tools to enhance creativity and final output. Your key responsibilities will include:
* **Video Editing and Production:**
* Add sounds, elements, captions, and other components to transform raw video footage into engaging, high-quality video content.
* Incorporate visual effects, perform sound editing, and render final video elements to enhance the overall quality of the content.
* Create videos and format them according to platform size specifications to be suitable for use on various platforms (eg, TikTok, IG, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Create video content tailored for YouTube and social media shorts (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
* **Collaboration and Communication:**
* Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet the desired objectives and deadlines.
* Maintain strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and ensure clarity in project briefs and feedback.
* **Project Management:**
* Handle multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and deadline adherence.
* Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards across all video projects.
* **Continuous Improvement and Trend Awareness:**
* Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to continually improve the quality and impact of video content.
* Apply new video editing techniques and tools to enhance the creative process and final output.
**What you should have**
* At least two years of experience in remote work setup, preferably with clients from the US, UK, Canada and/or Australia.
* Minimum of two years as a Video Editor.
* Proficiency in Adobe tools, CapCut, and other standard video editing software.
* Experience in Project Management, including managing tasks, deadlines, updating assignees, and reporting (Asana experience is a plus!).
* Familiarity with Slack for team communication.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* **Nice-to-haves:**
* Experience with additional video editing tools and software.
* Experience in specific industries such as marketing, entertainment, or corporate communications.
* Expertise in advanced visual effects and animation.
