About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of Pension Risk Transfer Pricing to join their Institutional Division. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in the design, pricing, and implementation of retirement income products, aligning with the division's long-term financial objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pricing strategies for the pension risk transfer product line, driving initiatives to enhance profitability and mitigate risk, and leading a team of 10-15 actuaries in strategic pricing efforts. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including the Head of Pension Risk Transfer, Enterprise Model Development, and Enterprise Valuation, is essential. The role demands a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries with over 15 years' of experience in diverse actuarial functions, deep knowledge of the PRT product line, and extensive experience in pricing, valuation, risk management, and model development within the industry. As the VP, Head of Pension Risk Transfer Pricing, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, the ability to influence operating results, and a strong focus on innovation and infrastructure development. They should be prepared to embrace change, challenge the status quo, and ensure effective controls are in place to achieve the desired returns. The role requires a leader who can build and maintain high credibility with both internal and external partners, and who is committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience with a range of financial products, including fixed annuities, variable annuities, stable value, funding agreements, and PRT, is preferred.
