Job Summary:

Provide an overview of the Intern/Co-op position.

The Co-op will work across the teams in the Technical Operations department to explore the use of deep learning algorithms for spectroscopic data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

This 6-month co-op will focus on the evaluation of machine learning algorithms to monitor a

continuous manufacturing process. Tasks include data gathering and curation, model development, model testing and the creation of a stand-alone prediction engine for monitoring a continuous process in real-time.

The student will interact with development and commercial teams to understand the process, identify relevant variables, and develop a user-friendly Graphical Interface.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. Student in Applied Statistics or Engineering
• Knowledge of multivariate modeling methods including machine learning algorithms and deep learning methods.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and Python
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and present work in project meetings
