Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist


What You ll Do:


s a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. You will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.


Functions:


ssist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
Support employee orientation and training activities, ensuring new hires are equipped with necessary information and resources.
ssist in the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as employee benefits, and employee recognition programs.
ssist in support for employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
ssist in conducting employee/union relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
ssist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:


Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
0-1 years of experience in human resources or a related field (entry-level position).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
bility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:


Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS implementation or administration.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in a union environment
