Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Full Time - 16 Hour -Float - Nassau at Northwell Health | GoHealth Urgent Care summary:

This full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position involves providing urgent care services across 19 centers in Nassau County, treating patients of all ages with adult and pediatric experience. The role includes flexible scheduling, rotating locations, and support from medical staff for procedures like sutures, casts, and diagnostic readings. Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - 16 hour - Float

Pay: $68/hour - $89/hour (experience-based range)

• Providers will be required to Float to all 19 Centers in the Nassau County Region

• Shifts: weekdays 16 hours 8a-12a, weekends 12 hours (8a-8p or 12p-12a)

• $5/hr. float premium + $30/hr. Night differential from 8p-12a

Minimum Required Qualifications:  

• PA/NP: 1-2 yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
