Urgent Care Physician Assistant at Northwell Health | GoHealth Urgent Care summary:

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant provides comprehensive urgent care services across multiple centers in Nassau County, treating patients of all ages and performing minor procedures such as sutures and splints. This role involves flexible scheduling, floating between centers, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including radiology technicians and medical assistants. Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - 16 hour - Float

Pay: $68/hour - $89/hour (experience-based range)

• Providers will be required to Float to all 19 Centers in the Nassau County Region

• Shifts: weekdays 16 hours 8a-12a, weekends 12 hours (8a-8p or 12p-12a)

• $5/hr. float premium + $30/hr. Night differential from 8p-12a

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Full Time   Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers in our Nassau County Centers.

Minimum Required Qualifications:  

• PA/NP: 1-2 yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
