Due to continued growth we are searching for Truck Driver CDL A Tanker Hazmat Driver to work in Granite City, IL.
Compensation - Average annual salary $100,000+ per year which includes:
- Hourly pay $37.60 per hour.
- Typical work week is 50-60 hours per week
- Annual bonus potential, 5% of annual salary
- Annual salary increases based on performance
- Bi-weekly paychecks
Benefits - Eligibility begins 1 st of the month after 30 days employment

Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday; no weekends
- Start times typically early mornings, work until work is done. Typically 10-12 hours per day
- Make 2-4 stops per day
- Typically out Monday-Thursday, home weekends.
- Must be flexible with work schedule and route assignments.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of water and/or water treatment chemicals using a sleeper cab and tanker
- Climb onto tankers using ladders, use of hoses, etc.
- Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
- Trucks are automatic transmissions. Automatic restriction acceptable.
- Tractors governed at 70 mph. In cab cameras facing inside and outside.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with tanker, hazmat and air brakes endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Minimum of 3 years of CDL A tanker driving experience highly preferred. Will accept less for the right candidates.
- Must have tanker and hazmat endorsements.
- Experience hauling hazmat chemicals preferred.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
