Job Description

The mission for this position is to perform maintenance and repairs on truck equipment (i.e. tractors, trailers, pickups, semi’s, service trucks, etc.) as required to keep equipment functional and in top mechanical condition/performance to meet the needs of farming operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance troubleshooting, and repairs, including electrical and mechanical concerns.
• Service work; execute necessary repairs, change fluids & filters as needed when time for service.
• Service and repair medium to heavy trucks and trailers.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a neat and tidy work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
• 3-5 years of verifiable experience repairing and maintaining Semi-trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is preferred, but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain a Farm Endorsement, for company vehicles.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Electrical and diagnostic skills are a must.
