Job Details

• RN Quality Coordinator Position Summary: Monitors hospital-wide quality.
• Conducts daily and post discharge reviews of potential Harms/HACs.
• Conducts mortality reviews.
• Site administrator for VPS, Comet and Quality Net.
• Fiscally responsible for accurate representation of medical severity of illness impacting Value Based Purchasing.
• Data collection and submission to CMS, Joint Commission and Leapfrog.
• Analyze data to recognize areas in programs for process improvement.
• Exemplifies and is committed to the mission and values of the organization.
• Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Service Excellence expectations of the organization.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree is required.
• Graduate of a School of Nursing program.
• Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree is preferred.
• Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
• NM GN permit to practice acceptable for 90 days.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
