Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - Med/Surg Flr 5

Shift : Days/ 7a-7:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps.

Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need

Requirements :

• ID License
• Must have 2 years of MedSurg experience
• Must be able to read and interpret tele
• Must have EPIC experience
• BLS, EKG certification

Other Details:

• Must be willing to take students, may precept new travelers
• Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
• # of Beds: 42
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5 occasional 1:6-very rarely happens
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Total joints, ortho-hip fx, spine surgeries-lumbar and cervical; Urology procedures, CBI; General surgeries- choles, bowel resections, complicated mastectomies; GYN overflow-total hysters; Medical overflow-COPD, some behavioral health, sepsis, infections
• Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color as long as clean and professional
• This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).

Estimated Weekly Rate: $2097 per week
