• A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for ICU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience. 13 Week contract.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of unit experience
• *Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS*

Schedule Information

• 12 hour shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630
• manager will make schedule based on unit needs
• Weekend Requirements: Every other
• Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs

Unit Specific Information

• Number of Beds: 34
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Peds >15 years old
• Duties: Managing Neuro surgery, Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, general surgery, etc.
• Titration of drips required
• Charge Nurse details
• Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit
• Equipment details
• Reading and interpreting telemetry monitoring required
• Floating to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
• Orientation details

Additional Details

• Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
