Emergency Department Registered Nurse - ER Specialty

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling various medical emergencies with a primary focus on patient care and rapid assessment in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency setting.


• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.


• Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols and standards.


• Participate in triage to prioritize patient care based on critical needs.


• Conduct appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for varied patient presentations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.


• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.


• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 preferred.


• Pediatric experience is preferred.


• No on-call requirement; floating within the scope may be necessary.


• Active RN license required at the time of submission.
