Excite Health Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

• EMR : EPIC

• NBO : 16 hrs

• OT/Holiday : 1.15x multiplier

• Call Back : 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

• On Call: $9/hr

• Charge/Precept : $6/hr

OT billing:
--- if scheduled 36-40 hrs/week, OT billed after 40 hrs
--- if scheduled 48 hrs/week, OT billed after 48 hrs

• Avg. caseload - We average 35-50 cases per day. Our expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.

• Special equipment - We have 3 Davinci robots, we use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and we use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We dont do many ortho joints.

• How many suites - We have 16 ORs. We run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.

• Service lines - Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.

• Scrub or Circulate - both would be preferred.

• Other - the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.
