Generations at Rock Island in Rock Island, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Transportation Aide/Driver. The position available is Full-Time. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with a Good Driving Record .

Typical Schedule is M-F, 8am - 4:30pm. Flexible hours may be required, depending on residents' appointment needs.

Responsibilities of the Transportation Aide (CNA):

• Transport admissions and residents throughout the facility using wheelchairs and carts
• Transport residents to and from medical appointments
• Schedule resident appointments as directed by the Director of Nursing (Director of Clinical Services)
• Process computer orders for proper charging

Transportation Aide (CNA):

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification from the State of Illinois
• Transportation experience preferred
• Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care for the residents
• Familiarity with of the principles of growth and development of the senior residents
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record - a Motor Vehicle Report will be run to check record
• Flexible hours may be required
