Job Description:

The role of the Traffic Coordinator is to assist in the creation and assignment of translation jobs/requests received, setting milestones and deadlines and ensuring that work is distributed equally between translation team.

It is the responsibility of the Traffic Coordinator to ensure that projects are moving from one stage to the next and ultimately delivered according to the schedule agreed with the client.

This individual should also have a command of the project management platform and be a part of fine-tuning process.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.

Understand and traffic work for production and translations/transcreations to appropriate transcreation staff members, with continued process management and workflow adherence to SLAs.

Manage the intake process and serve as the conduit between requestors (Enterprise-wide business partners and creative services) and the translation team to ensure all information is gathered and projects flow to all involved in a timely manner.

Assist in the development and delivery of non-English content as well as ensuring members and prospects receive a positive brand experience (in their language of preference) at all encounters (e.g., Web, Customer Service,

Sales, Retail Stores, etc).

Assist in providing consultation to the client functional areas and Multicultural Advertising Agencies to ensure that client's multicultural messages are accurate and relevant to the audiences to which they are targeted.

Review non-English content for accuracy, cultural relevance, appropriate context and compliance with Legislative and Regulatory rules, client Brand Rules, and government and industry standards.

Years of Experience:

2+ years related work experience - Professional experience in translating, interpretation, or dual-language proofreading

Required Education:

Related Bachelor s degree or additional related equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements:

Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization, both internal and external

Extremely organized, methodical and detail-oriented

Comfortable in a high-volume, high-pressure environment

Self-managed, yet good team player

Excellent time management skills

Prior experience in translation or related services

Bilingual English Spanish professional
