Barristers , a respected and dynamic settlement agency, is seeking a professional and experienced  Title Examiner / Escrow Officer to join our growing team! If you're organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Title Examiner Responsibilities:

• Examine title searches and resolve title issues
• Collaborate with underwriting counsel and team members
• Communicate title findings with clients
• Issue final title insurance policies

Escrow Officer Responsibilities:

• Prepare closing documents and review settlement statements
• Coordinate with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers
• Confirm title transfer, issue checks, and balance transactions
• Oversee escrow processes and assistants

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5 years of recent experience in title and/or escrow preferred
• Michigan Title Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
• High school diploma required (Associate’s Degree preferred)
