Responsibilities:
- Conduct property search to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
- Conduct title search to prepare a title abstract and title opinion
- Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner
- Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners
- Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies
- Communicate effectively and regularly with Real Estate agents, Loan officers, and clients
- Conduct all phases of the Title process through Closing
- Utilize technical skills to interact through Social media/ Internet/E-recording
- Validate and verify all financial and remote communication
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor experience, title examiner or providing closing services is required
- State license requirements must be met for this position --title producers license is a bonus
- Prefer process-driven, analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
- High school diploma required -- college degree preferred
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
- The Ideal Candidate will be Personable and Positive with a can-do Attitude
- 3 years plus of Title experience and interaction with Real Estate Agents and Loan Officers
- Meet State Licensing requirements- Title Producers license and Notary
