Are you ready to help us make the future?APU, Shaft, Altitude and Component Test is a group of engineers and technicians within Engines & Power Systems’ Engineering Test Services (ETS) organization. We plan and execute engine testing from IPDS Phase 2 through Phase 6 for all auxiliary power unit (APU) and many propulsion products. We are currently supporting new designs, Service Related Difficulty (SRD) programs and Facility Upgrades. We are leading and supporting various Engineering Transformation initiatives focused on delivering the data our customers need in half the time for half the cost.
The Test Engineer II will lead test coordination, program test estimates, facility design and capital projects for one or more product lines and as such will be accountable for the preparation, coordination, and execution of Engines and Power Systems (E&PS) engine test requests – quality data being the key deliverable to our customers. Additionally, this role will lead facility and test equipment design and maintenance for a wide variety of engine test programs/projects. Laboratory Engineers within Test Services work with a wide variety of stakeholders in all aspects of test facility design and maintenance, test equipment design, configuration and upkeep, test planning and test execution. An Engineer in this role will leverage their knowledge of engineering processes, discipline, and tools to estimate, plan and execute tasks and projects related to the development and certification of Honeywell engines.
