Mary Frances Accessories is a renowned, artistically driven handbag brand celebrated for its exquisite hand craftsmanship. With a strong presence worldwide and a loyal customer following, we are seeking a  multifaceted Technical Designer with experience in fashion & / or embellishment. Graphic design skills are a plus but not necessary. This is in the SF Bay Area and an in house position. Job Summary :

In this dynamic in-person role, you will work closely with the creative team to develop detailed technical specs. If applicable you will be supporting our marketing efforts through graphic design. This technical design role is a part time position unless you have a high level of graphic design skills that would make for a full time position.

Key Responsibilities :

* Translate creative sketches into detailed tech packs, including accurate specs and construction guidelines

* Focus on embellishment-heavy designs, particularly beading and embroidery

* Assist our in house designer.

* Contribute thoughtful input on color palettes and design direction

* (Optional) Assist with graphic design needs including email marketing and promotional materials

* Collaborate with sales, design, and product teams to ensure brand consistency

Qualifications :

• 2+ years experience in technical fashion design
• Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for the creative process
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Positive, flexible attitude; able to work independently and with a team

Bonus Skills (if applying for full-time role):

• Graphic design and photo editing experience
• Ability to retouch product images and create realistic mockups
• Experience creating GIFs and assets for e-commerce and digital marketing
