Job Title: Maintenance Manager (Hotel)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Near the Airport)
Job Type: Temporary – 1 Month
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $23–$25 per hour
Room and Board: Not Included
About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to support our hotel property near the Pittsburgh airport. In this role, you will ensure that our hotel remains in top operating condition—safe, functional, and welcoming for every guest.
This is a great short-term opportunity for someone with strong general maintenance experience and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop and implement hotel maintenance strategies and procedures
Conduct regular inspections to identify repair needs and safety issues
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks:
General repairs
Preventative maintenance
Equipment installations
Ensure all maintenance work meets quality and safety standards
Assist with managing department budgets and vendor bids
Maintain relationships with service vendors and contractors
Ensure all required certifications are up to date (including CPO if applicable)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar maintenance leadership role
Knowledge of hotel or commercial property maintenance procedures
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
General maintenance skills (e.g., ceiling patching, basic carpentry)
HVAC knowledge or certification
Plumbing knowledge or certification
Electrical knowledge or certification
Hotel maintenance experience strongly preferred
Local candidates preferred (no relocation or room & board offered)
This role does not oversee any Maintenance Technicians
