Job Description

Supply Chain Planner

Durham, NC

Our medical device company is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent project management skills and experience in the medical device industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating our production and order fulfillment providers and overseeing the lifecycle of product in production.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day activities for sustaining operations of our selected Contract Manufacturers, and Distribution (3P) sites.
  • Coordinate and manage any assignments from the change management meeting effecting sustaining product.
  • Assist in the development and execution of detailed production & project plans, including tasks, timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production or project goals, objectives, and milestones.
  • Manage the agreed production & shipment plan deliverables with the contract manufacturer,
  • Communicate status and risks concerning production or distribution that may affect the operational plan.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Regulatory team to ensure product & projects meet regulatory requirements.
  • Purchase Order management utilizing NetSuite ERP system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project management working with contract manufacturing companies
  • Sustaining production experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

Additional Requirements:

  • Complete all identified QMS Training requirements within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Demonstrate required NetSuite skills to use purchase order management and Project Codes within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Develop knowledge to properly use Arena QMS, first 60 days of employment.
  • Support in office core business hours 9-4, flexibility beyond that period to arranged with direct manager.
