Superintendent – Roofing (Commercial & Residential)

Tukwila, WA

Join our client, a leading roofing and waterproofing contractor, as an experienced Roofing Superintendent.

This is a leadership position working closely with the General Manager to oversee field operations and all aspects of roofing construction across residential, commercial, metal, and service departments.

The ideal candidate will have experience running large crews, worked in the field and a deep knowledge of various roofing systems for both remedial and new construction projects. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Managers on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specs. Conduct inspections and address issues promptly.
• Manage resources, create schedules, and resolve delays.
• Lead crews and subcontractors, ensuring understanding of project details and safety.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Oversee Foreman's documentation and maintain records in FCS, Google Drive, and Asana.
• Identify and mitigate jobsite risks to prevent delays.
• Enhance productivity, quality, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Train and mentor crews, promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Superintendent Qualifications:

• At least 4 years working with roofing materials and systems and at least 2 years in the commercial roofing industry.
• Expertise in composition and low-slope roofing installations.
• Extensive experience with various roofing systems in both restoration/repair and new construction projects.
• Deep knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems and accessories.
• Skilled in MS Office and basic computer software.
• Experienced leader with trade knowledge and team management skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000
