Technical Staffing Resources is seeking a Summer Intern to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team in Newark, Delaware
The intern will be responsible for scanning and logging engineering drawings, ensuring accurate and efficient digital records
This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in an engineering environment and contribute to important organizational tasks.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate scanning equipment to digitize engineering drawings
- Log scanned drawings into our digital database with accurate descriptions and metadata
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital records
- Ensure quality control by reviewing scanned images for clarity and completeness
- Assist with filing and retrieving drawings as needed
- Collaborate with engineering and administrative staff to improve document management processes
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding document handling and confidentiality
Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in an Engineering, Architecture, or related field. High School students are also accepted provided 18 year or older
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and terminology is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to operate scanning equipment (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation to the Newark, Delaware site
