Job Description
Absolute Lock and Security in Newhall, CA is searching for a commercial Sub-Contractor Locksmith Technician to work in Indianapolis, IN. This is a contract position, which will include locksmith-related skills, low-voltage electrical work, problem-solving, and other simple carpentry. We pay our Sub-Contractor Locksmith Technician a competitive pay rate per job completed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide locksmith services for commercial locations. Provide recommendations regarding industry best practices for locking devices and hardware applications and installations. Maintain a basic inventory of spare parts and components for supported devices. Install, repair, and re-key cylinders; evaluate and repair door locks; fabricate and provide maintenance in a timely manner.Qualifications:
Must have and maintain a current State Locksmith documentation (when needed) and be proficient in all aspects of locksmith services including installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of locks currently installed. Ability to Re-key and repair desks and file cabinets. Must be able to cut keys by code. Experienced with commercial panic/exit hardware. Experienced with Low Voltage work preferred. Experience with door closers. Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Must be able to work with little supervision, and be able to drive to job locations quickly and efficiently.
