The salary range considers various factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs. Typically, new hires are not placed at the top of the pay range. The current estimated range is: Grade: Professional 305 Pay Range: $54,800.00 - $82,200.00 Essential Functions and Responsibilities Provide coaching and support to an average student load, through one-on-one and group sessions. Engage learners via regular phone outreach. Offer empathetic encouragement, reinforce positive behaviors, and celebrate milestones. Use motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change. Facilitate WGU Academy’s PACA readiness curriculum, including group coaching, online facilitation, and coaching sessions. Collaborate with fellow Student Success Coaches and contribute to team improvements. Embrace WGU Leadership Principles, emphasizing learning, courage, and student obsession. Analyze data to enhance student success and productivity. Assist students with system resources and resolve administrative issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Abilities Excellent communication skills, including rapport building, empathy, active listening, and positivity. High energy and enthusiasm for virtual coaching and group sessions. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with ongoing feedback and improvement. Focus on student success and teamwork. Flexibility to adapt to change and ambiguity. Knowledge of motivational interviewing, coaching, and positive psychology. Experience supporting adult learners remotely. Experience working with at-risk learners. Familiarity with Salesforce, Webex, Tableau, or similar platforms. Experience in innovative startup environments. Minimum of 3+ years of Certified Coach experience. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Accredited Coaching Certification 3+ years of coaching experience Experience facilitating or teaching online Preferred Qualifications ICF or NBHWC Certification Supporting adult learners remotely Working with at-risk learners Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce Experience in high-volume remote coaching centers Proficiency in motivational interviewing and social-emotional learning Physical Requirements Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
