📐 Steel Detailer – Structural & Miscellaneous Steel

📍 Location: Queens, NY (In-Office)

💰 Salary: $90,000–$110,000 (Based on Experience)

🕒 Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Join as a Steel Detailer working closely with project managers, surveyors, and fabricators to produce accurate shop drawings and detailed models for structural steel projects. This role ensures all drawings meet project specs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop shop drawings and erection details
• Produce accurate models using AutoCAD and Tekla
• Review construction documents to ensure design accuracy
• Ensure compliance with AISC and other industry standards
• Support fabrication and installation teams with issue resolution

What You Bring

• Background in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction
• 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Tekla
• Strong blueprint reading and detailing skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Knowledge of AISC standards is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
