Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation manufactures aircraft batteries. Pretty cool, right? We think so. We opened the doors at our Georgia facility in 2014, located just outside of west Atlanta. Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is currently looking for a driven candidate to start a career processing batteries in our Stage Four Department. Successful candidate will need to fulfill daily production requirements given from the department supervisor. The position will work at various workstations within the Stage Four Department. The candidate will be given hands on training by the supervisor and colleagues; this is an exceptional career opportunity. Previous experience is not required but a plus. Overtime may be available.

Competencies:

• Load batteries on and off rolling conveyor lines
• Finish cosmetic build out of formed aircraft batteries
• Assist other employees in department
• Maneuvering up to 90 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time
• Reaching, carrying, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Use small hand tools
• Operate hand held electric / air tools
• Record and document battery weights
• Operate industrial hot melt machine
• Unloading and loading pallets of batteries daily
• Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training / practices
• Ability to use computer with minor data entry
• Maintain a clean work area
• Communicate to supervisor and or Q/C when detecting defective batteries
• Wearing required PPE
• Work in hot and cold temperatures
• Work with and around hazardous materials

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Read, write, and speak English
• Punctual and reliable
• Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday; 5:45am - 2:15pm.
