As a TruckPro Staff Accountant , you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting each month. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals with 1–3 years of experience—especially those with public accounting or inventory accounting backgrounds—who are ready to grow in a corporate accounting role.

Key Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

\n
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries for assigned accounts
\n
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain documentation
\n
• Research vendor credit memos, process returns, and manage related sub-ledger activity
\n
• Review and verify accuracy of financial statements before inclusion in final monthly reporting package
\n
• Assist in financial close periods - month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
\n
• Participate in annual inventory, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits
\n
• Collect and analyze data to support the annual budgeting process
\n
• Provide financial insight to field operations teams by reviewing store and region-level financials
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
\n
• Perform other accounting tasks as needed
\n

Successful Staff Accountant Candidates Will Have:

\n
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required)
\n
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or regional firm is a plus)
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems
\n
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
\n
• Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
\n
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
\n
• Ability to research technical accounting topics and present findings clearly to leadership
\n
