Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Dahlgren, VA.
Like learning about new systems and leading-edge weapon systems capabilities? Along the way, advise the Government by researching new concepts and technologies and developing new Fleet capabilities. Help design, review and contribute to the Navy's new system.
Senior Systems Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Providing Systems Engineering support for the cyber evaluation of new concepts and designs for SLBM groups at NSWCDD supporting Strategic Systems Programs.
Performing a range of analysis or review tasks related to cyber security for new designs and implementations of the Laboratories and Building spaces for SLBM.
Coordinating and work closely with other engineering and management disciplines to define new cyber requirements.
Supporting System Engineering related meetings and track project status.
Developing, maintaining, and producing technical documentation and building/lab specifications in support of cyber.
Directing interface and liaison with customers at all levels from design and layout activities, through completion and check out of the final build/modification.
Verifying and comply with engineering documentation standards related to cyber security for SPALT Developments.
Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or ten (10) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise.
Ten (10) years professional systems engineering experience with a DoD major strategic, platform, weapon, combat, Command and Control (C2), and/or fire control systems program, with five years' concurrent experience as a team leader performing system engineering and mission engineering efforts that include developing requirements and top level designs and/or system architectures for software intensive systems. This includes experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving platform, weapon, combat, C2, and fire control systems for Navy/Joint warfighting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) or other SLBM organizations.
Experience working with managing Cyber Security Requirements.
