Job Description: Sr. Product Manager – Workflows

The Job

• Above all, we're looking for a chemist that is passionate about helping other chemists solve their problems!
• Product management and marketing for our Workflows portfolio: Big Kahuna, Junior and Big Tuna
• Be the Voice of Customer during product development projects and strategic roadmap planning
• Partner with our commercial team (sales, field applications and support) to ensure we hit our revenue targets and keep our customers happy
• Develop and execute on an annual outbound marketing plan in partnership with our Marcom team
• Communicate with external stakeholders about our Workflows portfolio, build strong relationships with our customers and cultivate references in partnership with our commercial team
• Continuously seek out problems we might be able to help customer solve in the future

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate your products' value propositions to customers and the sales team
• Keep communication open with key accounts and customers for feedback
• Maintain collateral and training material to support the sales process
• Be an active part of decision making for product development projects
• Understand what our customers do, and why, to help the team make good decisions in development
• Determine and prioritize enhancements that would broaden adoption of our products
• Collaborate with Marcom to promote Big Kahuna, Junior ad Big Tuna
• Present on webinars/virtual seminars and at tradeshows, conferences and workshops

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, with a strong bent toward automated chemistry; will consider BS/MS in ChemistryQ with a lot of experience
• Some comfort with laboratory automation would be ideal, from experience as an automation engineer or an advanced end-user of Unchained Labs or similar products
• Can become the Voice of Customer for both simple and complex automated chemistry workflows
• Product management experience is ideal, but a strong love of chemistry and automation is even better
• Interest in outbound marketing and promotion of your products in partnership with our Marcom team
• An intellectually curious and creative self-starter that looks for answers from internal experts, customers, and the competitive landscape, that loves getting stuff done
• Some travel to tradeshows, customer sites, and other Unchained Labs offices will be required, up to 30%

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000 - $220,000. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual base salary may vary based on the Company's compensation
practices. This role is also eligible for our annual bonus or commission program, and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
