Realplay is looking for applicants with a passion for baseball, softball, or sports data collection. The ideal candidate should have the desire to play a key role within an innovative team that’s actively advancing the sports industry forward. Realplay delivers video of every swing, pitch, and defensive play that any player makes on a baseball or softball field. Our cameras capture every moment for each player and store them on personalized profiles in order to help players improve their game, easily share their highlights with anyone, and hold onto memories.

Job Description: 

Realplay is looking for self-driven Interns for the Spring/Summer baseball and softball season. As a member of our Sports Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live-event operations, sports video operations, and data collection. Our Sports Data Interns will be tasked with the following:

• Attend Realplay’s partner facility "Action Sports Complex” in Dayton, OH to score live games using our software
• Learn how to setup and operate Realplay’s professional sports video system
• Attend indoor facility where Realplay equipment is set up to score pre-recorded games
• Engage and communicate with coaches, facility staff, and tournament attendees at events
• Participate in professional advancement exercises
• Communicate with supervisors and other staff members to achieve a common goal
• Treat all equipment properly and with care
• Contribute to product development and innovation

Requirements: 

• Excellent professional communication skills 

• Understanding of baseball/softball

• Energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivated 

• Comfortable working with new technology 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Easy access to transportation to and from sites 

• Desire to work within a fast-paced environment 

Start Date/Credit:

• This is not a paid internship, but is available for school credit
• Training/ Start dates will be given more specifically as they get closer, but will begin in April or May
