JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY: Responsible for the providing rejuvenating and relaxing massages to clients.
A friendly therapeutic environment in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains is seeking an eager, self-motivated licensed massage therapist to join our team of professionals.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Provide consistent professional massage and body treatment in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices
* Ensure client comfort in a luxury spa setting
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Time management abilities
* Demonstrated sales and customer service skills
* Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law
* Must have genuine interest in helping clients achieve wellness
* Practice necessary precautions while working with clients
* Ability to complete several treatments per shift
* Great listening skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:
* Completion of training program in massage therapy.
* State licensure through the Department of Nursing.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
Knowledge of:
* Human anatomy
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Must possess a valid massage therapy license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
* Work is performed in an indoor climate controlled environment
* Incumbent wears prescribed personal equipment protection.
* Physical demands consist of standing for long periods of time
