Description

Job Summary:

The Spa Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing the spa staff, and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement spa policies and procedures.
  • Manage and motivate the spa staff to provide excellent service.
  • Create and oversee the spa's budget.
  • Conduct training programs for new hires and existing staff
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
  • Manage and order supplies and inventory.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
Essential Duties:

Operations Management

  • Ensure the spa is properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Marketing and Sales

  • Create and implement effective marketing initiatives to increase revenue.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth.
  • Meet regularly with sales team to review performance and adjust plans as needed.

Staff Management

  • Hire and train spa staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable and skilled in their positions.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing regular feedback and coaching when necessary.
  • Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Customer Service

  • Ensure guests receive exceptional customer service.
  • Address any guest complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Hotel Management, or Hospitality Management
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the spa industry or a related field
  • Strong understanding of spa industry trends and customer service principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and spa management software
