Description
Job Summary: The Spa Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing the spa staff, and improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement spa policies and procedures.
- Manage and motivate the spa staff to provide excellent service.
- Create and oversee the spa's budget.
- Conduct training programs for new hires and existing staff
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Manage and order supplies and inventory.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
Essential Duties: Operations Management - Ensure the spa is properly maintained and cleaned.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Marketing and Sales - Create and implement effective marketing initiatives to increase revenue.
- Develop partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth.
- Meet regularly with sales team to review performance and adjust plans as needed.
Staff Management - Hire and train spa staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable and skilled in their positions.
- Monitor staff performance, providing regular feedback and coaching when necessary.
- Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Customer Service - Ensure guests receive exceptional customer service.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Hotel Management, or Hospitality Management
- Minimum of five years of experience in the spa industry or a related field
- Strong understanding of spa industry trends and customer service principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and spa management software
