SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT -BD MILITARY FRIENDLY & PREFERRED - HOH SPONSOR Zermount Inc. is seeking a motivated Solutions Architect to join our Corporate and Business Development (BD) team at Zermount. This person will be responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions for Zermount's BD Team. The Solutions Architect will work heavily with our BD in efforts to respond to government cybersecurity and IT solicitations. This person will also work closely with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand, develop, and integrate Cyber and IT solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities - Communicate across different teams and SMEs to understand Cyber and IT methods and determine the best solution moving forward.
- Determine best solution when responding to government solicitations and work with the BD team to respond to government proposals.
- Develop a plan for technological strategy architecture implementations.
- Execute risk assessments
- Create and lead the process of integrating IT systems for it to meet the requirements of the organization.
- Conduct system architecture evaluation and collaboration with project management and IT development teams to improve the architecture.
- Owning the technical engagement around specific technical projects providing best practices and developing a deep expertise in solutioning.
- Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers and potential clients while working with our BD team.
- Assist our clients in designing and creating solutions that will solve tomorrow's problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - 7-10 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with government contracting and solicitation responses.
- A good understanding of technology and technical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Driven, hardworking, and able to take direction and multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and effectively present to corporate leadership
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized.
Education Bachelor preferable but professional experience is Permitted.
- Bachelor's degree in a Cybersecurity or IT field, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience or related experience is required.
Certifications and Training (Preferred) A minimum of at least one of the following security certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Security+
- Other related certification
Work Location Onsite at Zermount Corporate Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.
Hours of Operation - Business Hours: 8:00 am EST - 4:30 pm EST.
