We are seeking a Social Services Coordinator to join the Community & Residential Services Authority!

Responsibilities:

• Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
• Provide intensive service linkages for children needing access to mental health and educational supports
• Assists in the conceptualization, design, documentation and implementation of a collaborative system of care for Illinois children and their families
• Coordinates and collaborates with public, private, state and local agencies, professionals and parents in the implementation of specific responsibilities
• Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
• Facilitate referrals to other professionals and programs
• Maintain accurate client documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably a Master's Degree
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the provision and administration of direct services within mental health, child welfare, education, or juvenile justice provider system
• Reside in Central Illinois (Danville to Quincy, Bloomington to Litchfield)
• Previous experience in special education, social work, counseling, or other related fields
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
