Job Summary: An entry level part-time position with a growing small business. We are looking for an energetic and creative individual to help us promote our home repair and improvement services and engage with the community through digital platforms and traditional marketing. The ideal candidate is interested or already pursuing a career in digital marketing, enjoys creative work and engaging with people.
Key Responsibilities: Generate and implement ideas to promote the business within the community and on social media
Take photos on job sites of work in process and completed work and post on social media
Create daily content for posts and campaigns on Facebook and Instagram promoting the business and services
Monitor social media engagement and campaign performance
Attend and participate in regular meetings with Social Media marketing consultant
Update Google Business Profile regularly
Distribute marketing materials to local businesses promoting our services
Participate in community and networking events promoting the business
Perform misc. administrative and customer service duties as time permits
Basic Qualifications: - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a great attitude
- Experience with posting content on multiple social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications: - Associates degree or certificate in Marketing or working towards
- Understanding of basic digital marketing trends and terminology
- Experience with Canva
