What to Expect in This Role:

Typical Workday:

• Arrive at the shop yard between 4:45 AM and 7:30 AM (depending on whether the truck needs to be emptied before the first job of the day).
• Gather your tools/equipment and head out to your first scheduled job.
• Use a work-issued tablet to complete each job, check in with the office and fellow drivers as needed.
• Dump the truck at the treatment plant once or twice per day, depending on job volume.

Typical Job Responsibilities:

• Arrive at a customers home, introduce yourself, and obtain pre-authorization signatures if needed.
• Be mindful of the customers property and yard throughout the service.
• Gather the necessary tools, locate and dig up buried septic tank lids as needed (some may be 2-3 feet deep).
• Run a 30-150 foot vacuum hose and pump out the septic tank.
• Inspect key components of the tank before covering the lids.
• Accurately complete service forms, collect payment, and enter details in the tablet.
• Provide top-notch customer service with a great attitudea smile goes a long way!

Job Requirements:

Able to use a shovel Some lids are exposed, but others may require digging up to two feet in rocky soil.
Comfortable getting a little dirty Its part of the job!
Physically capable Must be able to bend, pull, and lift.
CDL (Class B or Class A) REQUIRED Tanker endorsement is required or must be obtained.
Able to drive a manual transmission Our vacuum trucks are not automatic.
Reliable transportation To and from our office in the Fair Oaks/Boerne area.
Punctual and dependable Show up on time and be flexible with end times (usually 4-6 PM).
Professional appearance Clean and neat.
Willing to follow company policies and procedures.

Competitive Pay Starting at $24 per hour (higher pay for experience).
Annual Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000+ (based on hours worked).

Job Details:

Compensation:

• $50,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on hours worked)
• Eligible for holiday pay after 6 months
• Eligible for 5 days of vacation after 1 year
• Additional bonuses and incentives provided throughout the year

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (No nights, no weekends!)
Overtime available
Home daily
Year-round work

License & Requirements:
CDL (Required)
Tanker Endorsement (Required or must be obtained)
Experience driving a manual transmission (Required)
Septic industry experience (Preferred but not requiredwe will train!)

Work Location:
One location (Fair Oaks/Boerne area, TX)

Vehicle Used:
Kenworth 4000-gallon tanker truck (manual transmission)
