Job Description

Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent client onboarding and integration projects for the industry leader in Embedded Software Security solutions. You will ensure the successful implementation of our security and embedded technology solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, customer-facing experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers to drive projects forward efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple short-term projects simultaneously, excels at working with both technical teams and external clients, and has transitioned from a software development or engineering background into project management. Experience in embedded systems, cryptography, or security is highly beneficial.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management or software project management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with software engineers and development teams to ensure project success.
  • Customer-facing experience with a track record of successfully managing client implementations.

Preferred:

  • Background in software development, coding, or engineering before transitioning into project management.
  • Experience in embedded systems, cryptography, or security.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects, primarily focusing on client onboarding and product integrations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to define project timelines, track progress, and keep teams on task to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing any roadblocks.
  • Continuously improve project workflows to streamline customer implementations and accelerate time to deployment.
  • Maintain a high level of technical understanding to effectively bridge the gap between customers and engineering teams.
