Job Description

The Senior Recruiter will manage end to end recruitment and client management for all US non-investment and non-technical hiring. The Senior Recruiter will be based in the New York City (Midtown, Manhattan) office with an on-site requirement of 3 days per week.

Description

Responsibilities of the Senior Recruiter include:

  • Oversee the complete recruitment process for entry to mid-level positions within the firm's Corporate Functions (HR & Administration, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Strategy, Investment Operations, BD/Fundraising, Events Management, etc.)
  • Collaborate with various teams such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Operations to comprehend talent requirements and devise effective recruiting strategies.
  • Employ strategic sourcing techniques to build a robust candidate pipeline, utilizing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday ATS.
  • Conduct talent sourcing activities, including research, market analysis, direct outreach, networking, and candidate screening.
  • Partner with the Diversity Equity & Inclusion team to incorporate diversity sourcing objectives into the recruitment process.
  • Facilitate timely communication between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Offer guidance to hiring managers on aspects like role level, compensation, and responsibilities to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure a personalized experience for all candidates, from application submission to job offer.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the financial services industry market and enhance the firm's external brand presence.
  • Analyze internal data and conduct market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with recruiters from other departments to support hiring needs across different functional areas.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the overall recruitment and hiring experience for both managers and candidates.

Profile

Qualifications of the Senior Recruiter include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from an international institution.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, and client management, preferably within the Investment Management, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Financial Services sectors, encompassing corporate, retained, and/or contingent recruitment searches.
  • Proficiency in Boolean searches and adeptness in employing creative and strategic talent sourcing methodologies.
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional service to both clients and candidates while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Capable of extracting pertinent information from comprehensive research and analysis, presenting findings in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Exhibits a proven track record and genuine enthusiasm for talent sourcing.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adhere to project deadlines.
  • Interest in cultivating robust internal and external relationships to establish a reputable network.
  • Reliable, positive attitude, highly motivated, and collaborative team player.
  • Possesses a strong sense of ownership and accountability, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Job Offer

  • Base salary $110,000 - $140,000 commensurate on experience
