Kimley-Horn has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing Water and Wastewater projects to join our Houston team.
**Responsibilities**
We are looking for someone with strong client interaction skills that can manage and lead teams for water/wastewater treatment projects, water and wastewater pumping systems, and large diameter conveyance (water distribution and wastewater collection) in Texas.
The Senior Project Manager will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for the local water resource practice and beyond. Markets are not limited by geography but driven by relationships. The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business. Accounting, administrative, marketing, recruiting, IT and production support will be provided. With success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of a performance based work environment and can advance to ownership.You will haveall the resources and horsepower of a 7,000 person, privately held, one-profit center firm behind you.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's/Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Or, PHD with 6+ years of relevant experience.
+ Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, area counties, water management authorities and local, regional, state agencies
+ Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas.
+ Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
+ Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
+ Operating with integrity and sound business principals.
