Traffic Operations Manager

This role will oversee various facets of the Traffic Operations team including TIA's, signalization plans, intersection improvement plans, turn lane improvements, and traffic studies.

Responsibilities

• 10+ years multi-discipline experience in traffic engineering, with experience in managing teams of 10 or more employees
• Provide guidance and direction to project design team for various tasks within the scope of a project, which may include training and supervising project team
• Lead multi-discipline support consultant teams in project development and design
• Participate in the development of innovative design techniques, support tools, and project delivery methods
• Present new ideas and techniques to clients and stakeholders
• Support efforts in proposal development, project scoping, as well as with client relationship development
• Attend design review meetings and interact with clients with support staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas
• 10 years' multi-discipline experience with at least 8 years' managing projects from conception to completion
• Ability to technically and professionally mentor members of project team
• Exceptional ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• Working knowledge MicroStation, GeoPak, MS Excel, OpenRoads, and scheduling
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of employees in an organization
• Must be able to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
