Bi-vocational position, serving as the senior pastor of a small Baptist congregation in Jackson, Ohio.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth and community outreach. The ideal candidate will provide pastoral care, guidance, and leadership to our church community.

Duties:

• Conduct religious services and lead congregational worship
• Provide Christian counseling and support to individuals and families
• Mentor and educate church members on spiritual matters
• Present sermons and teachings that inspire and engage the congregation
• Offer bereavement support and hospice care as needed
• Lead community outreach programs and initiatives
• Oversee the administration of sacraments and rites

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Proficient in public speaking and writing
• Experience in mentoring individuals of diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of Christian counseling principles
