Job Description

We are seeking a Senior IT Manager to oversee our IT infrastructure, Software Development, Servers and technology strategy. This role requires expertise in managing IT operations, leading development teams, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.

This is an onsite position located at 1 World Trade Center New York NY 10007

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor IT and development teams, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee system security, compliance, and risk management.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve business processes.

Software Development & Engineering

• Manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Provide technical leadership for JavaScript-based applications (Node.js, React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
• Optimize system performance, security, and scalability.

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Ensure smooth operation of IT systems, cloud services, and network infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployments.
• Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
• Manage IT support services, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Compliance & Security

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
• Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect company assets.
• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT management experience with a focus on software development, support and IT operations.
• 5+ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• 3+ Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications (PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.
• Background in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
